The restaurants of Rapoport’s Restaurant Group, located in Boca
Raton and Delray Beach, Florida, have garnered plenty of media attention
in the last few months. Dinner in Boca Raton and Delray Beach never
tasted this good! RRG ensures that dining out on healthy and delicious
dishes is always a pleasure.
In the Best of Boca & Beyond section of the July/August 2007 issue
of Boca Raton magazine, Opus 5 (at the Shops at Boca Center in Boca
Raton) was awarded as the favorite Lunch Spot. The Boca Raton restaurant
review reads, “Still, our all time favorite is Opus 5—light and inspired,
see and be seen, a refreshing interlude in anyone’s workday.” Henry’s,
situated in Addison Place in Delray Beach, was awarded as one of The
Magnificent Seven. The Delray Beach restaurant review reads: “Henry’s,
Delray Beach, is a comfy and consistent favorite, with upstanding American
entrees like pot roast, turkey meat loaf, and pork chops, among other
things. Most entrees are just under $20, and you can count on the quality.”
Additionally, noted South Florida restaurateur Burt Rapoport was awarded
the Reinvention That Works for the launching of Bogart’s Bar & Grille,
at the JM Lexus Premier Level at Muvico Palace 20, in Boca Raton. Rapoport’s Restaurant Group win Best of Boca Reader’s Choice awards for 2008. Henry’s received Best American Lunch for 2008. Opus 5 received Best Lunch for 2007 and 2008. Bogart’s Bar and Grille received Best Dining Entertainment 2007 and 2008.
Besides rave restaurant reviews, RRG picked up two
awards in the Best of South Florida ’07 feature in the May 2007 issue
of Gold Coast, Boca Life, and The Palm Beacher magazines. Burt Rapoport
was named Best Restaurateur and Bogart’s Bar & Grille was named
the Best Way to Spend Date Night.
Additionally, RRG was honored in the Readers’ Choice
Awards for South Florida Fine Dining in the May/June 2007 issue of
Boca Raton magazine. Opus 5, which serves inventive Contemporary American Cuisine, was voted the Best New Restaurant. Bogart’s Bar & Grille,
which serves the best American dishes from Burt Rapoport’s restaurants
(past and present), was voted the Best Dining Entertainment. Henry’s,
which serves gourmet comfort food, was voted the Runner-Up for Best
American cuisine. Opus 5 was in a three-way tie for Favorite Restaurant,
and also voted the Runner-Up for Best Continental Cuisine.
Rapoport Launches First Private Label Wine at his Delray Beach and
Boca Raton Restaurants…
Burt Rapoport’s first private label wine—Burt’s Cuvee—is now available
at Henry’s in Delray Beach, and Opus 5 and Bogart’s Bar & Grille
in Boca Raton. This delicious offering, from Markham Vineyards,
is a blend of primitivo, petite sirah, zinfandel, and syrah, and tastes
like a full-bodied Italian wine with powerful fruit flavors. Burt’s
Cuvee is available by the glass ($9) and by the bottle ($36).
Summer Promotion: Three-Course Dinner at Opus 5 in Boca Raton…
From July 1 through September 30, 2008, there will be a special three-course dinner menu offered at Opus 5. The prix-fixed dinner menu at this Boca Raton restaurant allows diners to savor superb dishes at a considerable savings. At $25, per person, this menu is offered Monday through Friday from 6:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday 6:00pm-6:30pm and all day on Sunday.
John Belleme Joins Opus 5…
Burt Rapoport is pleased to announce that the extraordinarily
talented John Belleme has joined Opus 5 as the executive chef
at this standout Boca Raton restaurant. Since joining the restaurant,
in June of 2007, he has added an inventive menu of small plates and
starters, along with a variety of delicious main courses. Belleme’s
creative American dishes, with Asian accents, embody clean, crisp
discernable flavors that are pleasing to the palate as well as the
eye.
Belleme has cooked for a variety of Rapoport’s South Florida restaurants
over the course of nine years. He was previously the executive chef
at Gotham, in Delray Beach, and he was also the executive chef at Max’s
Grille in Boca Raton’s Mizner Park. From 2000 to 2004, Belleme was the
co-owner and executive chef of the former Zemi (where Opus 5 now resides).
While he was at Zemi, Belleme was named a “Chef to Keep Your Eye On”
by Esquire magazine’s John Mariani.
